Selling on ebay is no hard work. Every Tom, Dick and Harry can sell on ebay. But how to sell like a powerseller? Well, I will reveal few tricks and tweaks with some free resources.

A super cool feature that ebay has (and I love them for it) is to be able to sell mutiple items in one listing. Ever wonder how powersellers sell items for $2 BIN(buy it now) and still include in ‘featured listings’ and ‘featured first’? The answer is simple, multiple item listing. You may have to do a complete cost analysis before you even source the products as featuring a product costs a lot of money, specially if you are selling a low cost; low margin product.

Inlusion in featured listings does boost sale, so does the highlight feature. If not there won’t be anybody paying ridiculous amounts of money on these features. But what if there is pierce competition in the featured block exact same product is next to your listing, supposedly both highlighted.

Finding a “Hot Niche” is the most important yet simple (if done properly) step in becoming successful as an ebay seller. Even more importantly this would be the first building block of any ebay empire.

I was amazed when I heard this first and even felt stupid that this method did not occur to my mind. Yes folks! it’s that simple.

Go to the ebay regional site you are focussing and browse through categories and sub-categories which may take you to product listings. You may notice that few categories have few featured items listed on top of the regular listings. Some niches have more than ten featured items. Once you see high number of featured items in a niche you can be 100% certain that it’s profitable, ‘in demand’ niche. In other words a blazing Hot Niche.

Knowing that sellers have to pay a considerable amount of money (around $40) to feature a listing, it’s not rocket science to figure out why so many power sellers are using these features to sell high volumes of low priced (below $10 mostly) products.
